Sometimes we just need a refuge to go

Sometimes we just need a refuge to go to, a place where we feel safe and secure, a place where you are not judge nor demean.

Sometimes we just need a refuge to go to, a place where we feel safe and secure, a place where you are not judge nor demean. Refuge is a condition of being safe or something providing shelter from pursuit, danger, or trouble. This is what God does for us—for God is our refuge in times of trouble. For God provides a place for us when we are afraid or in trouble. God is a source of strength and help when we need it. Psalms 119:114 reads, “You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.” Then Psalms 91:1-2 says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty will say to the LORD, ‘My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’” Today, no matter what you are going through know that the LORD God Almighty is with you—hold on to Him for He is your refuge. Nahum 1:7 reads, “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him…” God Bless. Amen.
