Stormy weather is happening across the mid and eastern part of our nation.

Stormy weather is happening across the mid and eastern part of our nation. It can become quite scary when bad weather hits, because of the severity of the storm and the damage done by the storm. We are told to take cover to protect our family and ourselves. In the early 1990’s God gave me this understanding. He revealed to me when a ship, is out in the ocean, and is caught in a serve storm. They are told to head into the storm, into the eye of the storm. There they will find safety from the storm, peace, and calmness. This is what God wants us to do with the storms of our lives. To face the storm, to head into the storm, and there you will find God, peace and calmness. For God is the eye of all our storms in life. He will give us peace when the storms of life rage. He will calm our fearful spirits and give us hope of a new day. Psalms 107:29 reads, “He calmed the raging storm, and the waves became quiet.” Isaiah 25:5 says, “For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall.” In life, we can become scared and fearful from the storms that bombarded us. During these times of turmoil and tribulation, we need to seek refuge with God. He will protect us and shelter us from the storms of life, until the destruction of the storm passes. God is there. Turn to Him. He will see you through life’s difficulties. God Bless. Amen.
