The joy of the Lord is our strength.

The joy of the Lord is our strength.

April 19, 2023

The joy of the Lord is our strength. Are you a strong person, emotionally and mentally? Strength comes from within. It is our mental power or endurance, such as willpower, courage, self-confidence, or self-discipline. Nehemiah 8:10 reads, “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our LORD. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” The joy of the LORD is our strength. Think about it, when you are weak, God gives you strength. When you lack willpower, God gives you strength. When your courage waivers; God gives you strength. When your self-confidence is failing, God gives you strength. When self-discipline is not there, God gives you strength. Whatever life throws your way, remember, God is with you giving you the strength you need to get through the situation you are in. He is the one sure thing in this life. With God on our side, we have hope—hope in the future. So focus on the LORD. He will renew your strength. Find comfort for all things are possible with our LORD; remember the joy of the LORD is our strength. God Bless. Amen. Denise
