This is the first day of the rest

This is the first day of the rest of your life, make it a good one.

May 26, 2023

This is the first day of the rest of your life, make it a good one. On this day of our Lord, let us rejoice and glorify the LORD God Almighty, and praise His Holy Name. For He is King of kings, Lord of lords, mighty and wonderful is He. Our God is our all in all, the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega. He is our hope in this life of ours. As the day unfolds, let us do random acts of kindness. Where there is meanness let us, show goodness. Where there is hate, let us show respect. Where there is frustration, let us show support. Where there is sadness, let us show hope. Let us relinquish all hate, strife, and surrender these things unto the LORD. Let us be an instrument of our Lord and serve Him with gladness. “For the righteous will rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him; all the upright in heart will glory in our God!” (Psalms 64:10) Remember we are all beloved children of God. Loved and accepted by God. Therefore, let us be examples of our Lord in all that we do. And now by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, make this day the best day ever. Rejoice, for God is with us. God Bless. Amen.
