To be thankful is to express gratitude and relief. It is being, pleased with an outcome. It is being, joyful and happy because things are good. It shows appreciation toward something or someone. So, what are you thankful for? Your spouse, your children, stepchildren, your daughters-in-law, your sons-in-law, your in-laws, your grandchildren, your great-grandchildren, your parents, your siblings, your friends, your pets, the house you live in, the food you eat, the clothes you wear, the vehicles you drive, how about GOD? For our God is King of kings, Lord of lords, mighty and wonderful is He. He is our sustainer, redeemer, comforter, and provider. He is our source of unfailing love and our strength. He is holy, merciful, and good. God’s unwavering faithfulness keeps us going and gives us hope. Being thankful of God, is recognizing all the things He does for us, whether big or small. Hebrews 12:28 reminds us, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” Psalms 107:1 tells us, “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his steadfast love endures forever.” Then Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” Today, let us give thanks for all that we have and let us praise His Holy Name, for our God is an awesome God He reigns. Praise God for this is the day that the LORD has made let us rejoice and be glad in it, for the joy of the LORD is our strength. God Bless. Amen.
