Today is the first day of the rest

Today is the first day of the rest of your life!

November 19, 2024

Today is the first day of the rest of your life! How are you going to use this day? Are you going to use it for good or are you going to waste it? Are you going to find beauty or the ugliness of life? Are you going to find joy moment by moment or are you going to be sad and feel sorry for yourself? You choose to either make the most of the day or you can wall in self-pity. The choice is yours, what will you choose? Sometimes, we take life for granted, forgetting that once this day is gone you can never get it back. There are no re-do’s. I hope you choose joy and laughter, peace and happiness, kindness and forgiveness. So that you will have a good day. Charles Swindoll says, “Life is 10%, attitude is 90%.” Psalm 37:4 tells us, “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Isaiah 12:3 reads, “With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” Nehemiah 8:10 reads, “…for the joy of the LORD is my strength.” It is something to remember. God Bless. Amen.
