Today is the first day of the rest

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

July 3, 2023

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. How will you use this day, will you use it for good, or will you waste it, feeling sorry for yourself, moping and sulking the day away? Sure life at times can be very hard. That is life. Yet life is also full of joy, laughter and good things. Let us not focus on the bad but focus on the good, because life is to short. But the choice is yours. So I ask you what will you do with this day? Philippians 4:4-7, “Rejoice in the LORD always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let all men know your forbearance. The LORD is at hand. Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Remember, you choose to be happy, mad, sad, or glad. The choice is always yours. There are NO re-do’s in life, so make today the best it can be! It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
