Values are fundamental beliefs and principles that guide an individual in actions, judgments, and choices, shaping his or her perceptions of what is desirable or undesirable. What kind of values do you have? Do you see everything in white or black, right or wrong, or is there ever any gray in your decisions? Do your values consist of integrity, honesty and being trustworthy? Do you have a good character or when people see you do they think what a schemer you are? Are you rude and inconsiderate? Or are you a kind and compassionate person. What type of person are you? 2 Peter 3:11b reads, “…what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives.” Titus 2:7 tells us, “Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in you teaching show integrity and dignity.” Then Proverbs 10:9a says, “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely…” Sometimes we just need a reminder of who and what we are, people of God who do not live by secular standards but who fear the LORD and walk humbly. God Bless. Amen.
