Wait Upon the Lord!

Wait, hope, trust in the Lord!

June 30, 2026

“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”(Psalms 27:14 KJV)

Psalms 27:14 is a well-known biblical verse encouraging patience and resilience in times of trial and tribulation.  It is a reminder to trust God, His timing, and lean on Him for inner courage and strength.

“Wait on the LORD” means to trust God’s timing, by surrendering your own timeline and believing that God’s timing is better than yours.  It is not a passive surrender, but an active stance of faith and hope.

You do this by continuing to trust God, even when you do not see immediate results.  For waiting and trusting go hand in hand.  Because trusting God means having complete confidence in Him, His wisdom, and His love, even when you cannot understand how!

While you wait and trust God you find peace, that peace that passes all understanding.  Which gives you hope.  For hopeful anticipation is expecting God to act, provide, and sustain, even when the outcome is not yet visible.

Today, wait upon the LORD!  Trust that He is bigger than the situation.  Hope, believe and have faith.  For faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) God Bless.  Amen.
