We all experience difficult times in our lives.

We all experience difficult times in our lives. When life is difficult, what do you do, how do you handle life’s difficulties? Do you get mad, do you rant and rave? Do you shut down, not knowing what to do or to say? Do run from the problem as long as you can, hoping it will just go away. Or do you deal with the problem at hand, even though it is very difficult. In life, there are difficult times, things you do not want to deal with. You can either deal with the problem, run away from it, get mad and frustrated, or shut down. The choice is yours. What I have found is that God can help you get through those difficult times. Scripture tells us, “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” (Psalms 31:24) To be strong and take heart means to find courage and inner strength by trusting in the Lord during difficult times. It is a call to be brave, not in one’s own ability, but through faith, knowing that God is with you and will give you the strength you need to get through the situation you are in. It is a call to trust God and this at times can be hard for us. So, when difficult times come your way. Turn to God, pray and pray some more. Read the scriptures, say the “Lord’s Prayer” repeatedly. Keep your eyes focused on God. And deal with the problem and soon this difficult time will pass, because God is with you. It is something to try. God Bless. Amen.
