We all have roadblocks in our way, on a daily basis, which can cause us to be frustrated. Frustration is the feeling of being upset or annoyed, especially because of inability to change or achieve something. Daily frustrations can be traffic jams, getting sick, an appliance that is broken, your TV’s internet goes down, your car gets a flat tire and the list goes on. And we become frustrated because now we must deal with the situation at hand. The Bible suggests that we learn to manage our frustrations by being slow to anger, seeking wisdom, and replacing destructive emotions with prayer, learning to trust God in all situations, and to focus on the good. We must remember that life is life, things happen, life happens. Life is not always a rose garden; we must remember roses have thorns. So, when life is filled with frustrations know that God is the one sure thing in this life of ours. He is with us in all situations and circumstances, even when we are frustrated. Psalm 46:1-3 reads, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble times.” Isaiah 41:19 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Sometimes we forget this. Sometimes we let our frustrations get the best of us. Let us remember, therefore, to be strong and courageous for our God is with us. Because soon this situation will pass. God Bless. Amen.
