We all need to know and understand the ways of our LORD.

August 23, 2023

We all need to know and understand the ways of our LORD. It is so hard, at times, to make sense of the workings of our Lord. For when life gets hard, frustrating and overwhelming it is hard to comprehend why bad things happen to good people. Where is God, in the midst, of all that is occurring in this world of ours. We have even felt that our God has left us to fend for ourselves! Here is the thing God never leaves us. Our God is always with us no matter what is going on even when we do not feel He is there. Psalms 34:18 tells us, “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Then Psalms 46:1 reads, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Finally, Psalm 21:1 reminds us, “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid.” Life is life, even though we at times do not feel that God is with us, I remind you God is always with us. All we have to do is believe and trust that God is bigger than the situation we are in. Remembering God will give us the strength and courage we need to keep putting one foot in from of the other. Believe it! Trust it! God is with us! God Bless. Amen.
