We are to put God first!

Did you remember God today?

June 28, 2026

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV)

“Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13 NIV)

What is your role in life?  To be a husband, a wife, a mother, a father, an engineer, a minster, a doctor, an owner of a business, a care-giver, a creator, an artist, a singer, a dancer, a homebuilder, a financial planner, an electrician, a coach, a teacher, or is your role to show others your love of God because you understand that role comes first above everything else.

Scripture reveals that our primary role in life is to glorify God, love and serve others, and fulfill God’s purpose for our lives, for God has given us each different gifts to use. We fulfill God’s purpose by actively aligning our daily choices, character, and talents with God’s teachings. It is a continuous process of spiritual searching and growth rather than a one-time destination.

Sometimes we do not do this, we do not put God first in our lives.  He takes a back seat to our everyday dealings in life—whether at work, at home or out and about.  Whatever we say or do should be viewed as a primary mission field showing our love of God in all things.  It is something to think about as you go forth into the day.  God Bless.  Amen.
