We are told that there is beauty all

We are told that there is beauty all around us.

September 23, 2024

We are told that there is beauty all around us. Look out the window or go outside, look around what do you see? The landscape, the mountains, the ocean, a lake or a river—the beauty of it. What do you see? Look to the sky do you see the beauty of it—the blue, blue sky and the white clouds? What about the flock of birds sitting on the pond as they frolic in the water? Beauty is there. If we have the eye to see, we can see beauty all around us. When we go to a museum, we can see the beauty of the splendor of the master’s as they painted their pictures. Beauty is there. Beauty is seeing an ancient building and appreciating the craftmanship, the architecture and wondering how is that possible. Psalm 19:1 reminds us, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 reads, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” They say beauty is in the eyes of the person and that is true. Today, look around you. What do you see? The beauty of God’s creation! God Bless. Amen.
