We play hide and seek with our dog.

May 23, 2024

We play hide and seek with our dog. Gary, my husband holds onto our dog Charlie, while I go and hide. Then Gary lets him go and sure enough he finds me every time. When Charlie was just a puppy, it would take him a little bit to find me. Now he has no trouble finding me. He can find me in less than a minute. Sometimes we think we lose God and can’t seem to find Him. That is not the case—God never goes missing. We are the ones who go missing. We are the ones that stop seeking our LORD. Today, if you haven’t talked to the LORD in a while—talk to Him—He is not hiding from you. He is there. Remember our relationship with God is something we never outgrow. Our relationship with God is forever. It is a matter of seeking Him, day after day, moment after moment. Jeremiah 29:13 reads, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” It is something to remember—seek the LORD! God Bless. Amen.
