We worry about our health when our health

We worry about our health when our health is not so great.

February 20, 2025

We worry about our health when our health is not so great. We worry about our finances when our money is tight. We worry about a loved one when he or she is declining in health. We worry about putting food on the table when there is no food to be had. We worry. Here is my question to you, are you worried about something right now? Are you hoping and praying that it will work out, the way that would be beneficial to you. And you worry because the situation does not seem to be going in the right direction. Due to the worrying you pray and pray and pray some more. Trying to let go and let God, but it is so hard to do. Especially when worrying is ever present. All the while trying to remember that no matter what happens God is with you, hoping the worrying will subside, but it is so hard at times—when life just doesn’t seem to be going in the right direction for you. Scripture tells us in 1 Chronicles 28:20 that God is with us always. It says, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed; for the LORD God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the LORD’s house is finished.” These words are powerful; they reassure us, and we can draw comfort from them. Remember worrying will never change the situation. So all you really can do is wait, trust, and believe, and pray. And keep reminding yourself God is with me. God Bless. Amen.
