What does it mean to be secure in the Lord?

What does it mean to be secure in the Lord? To feel secure in the Lord means you feel safe, even when life is hard and unsure. To feel secure in the Lord means you feel stable, because you know you and God have this. You also are free from fear and anxiety because you know that God’s faithfulness is unwavering. When you feel secure in the Lord, you are able to understand that God provides and protects us in ways we cannot comprehend. Being secure in the Lord is trusting God to see you through every situation that comes your way. For it is in God we find security. We are secure in our grief, our pain, our questions, and our suffering. We are secure because our security is based not on our wavering faith, but on the unwavering faithfulness of our Lord God. Psalm 91:1-2, 4-5 reads, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God , in whom I trust.” He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.” Remember God is our all in all. He is our life support in this world of ours. God Bless. Amen.
