What does it mean to keep your eyes

What does it mean to keep your eyes upon the Lord?

October 19, 2023

What does it mean to keep your eyes upon the Lord? It means focusing on God not worldly things. When you focus on the Lord, you go inward through prayer, meditation, reading the Word, listening to Christian music. You begin to turn away from worldly urges and things and move more toward doing what God called you to be and to do. Thus when we keep our eyes upon the LORD, we probably will stay true to Him. Psalms 119:10 reads, “I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.” Which means, keep your eyes upon the LORD, and you will not be tempted of things from this world. But sometimes, we just want to do what we want to do and boom sin occurs. Remember, God is there. God is always there for you. God will never give up on you. The question is will you focus on God or worldly thing! It is something to think about. Have a great day. God Bless. Amen
