What is one thing that you really really

What is one thing that you really really want?

September 26, 2025

What is one thing that you really really want? Good health? To see a loved one again? To find a spouse? To be financially stable? To obtain the job of your dreams? To……. What is it that is your heart’s desire? For we all want things. But want and need are two different things. We need food, water, and shelter to survive. We desire; we want a lot of things. But the question is what do you really need in your life? Do you see the difference? Because if you think about it most people have everything they need, in life. They just want things and more things. Psalm 37:4 reads, “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Then Psalms 20:4 says, “May he give you your heart’s desire, and put all your purposes into effect.” When we hear these verses, we think that God will give us anything and everything we want. As if God is a magical God. What these scriptures are saying is the closer walk you have with God, the more you see things through God’s eyes, the happy you are in life. Thus, no matter you want in life you understand God is our all in all. For our God, if we are honest, meets our every need. It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
