What is something that you ask of our LORD?

May 9, 2024

What is something that you ask of our LORD? Is it to have good health? That a loved one has good health? That you have financial success? That you find the love of your life? That your children are healthy? That your children become successful? That you find peace and forgiveness in your life? What do you seek from the Lord? What is the one thing you pray to the LORD about? When King David was writing the Psalms he expressed how he felt through prayer. In Psalms 27:4 he writes, “One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.” This Psalm is about seeking the LORD in all things. Maybe King David was right, maybe if we kept our eyes upon the LORD, no matter what is going on in your life. Seeking Him in all things, maybe everything else would fall into place. Because with God on our side how can we fail, how can life not be good? Today, let us seek the LORD in all things. Let us keep our eyes upon the Lord. Maybe just maybe you will have a better day. God Bless. Amen.
