When things do not turn out the way

When things do not turn out the way you thought they would, what do you do, how do you act?

When things do not turn out the way you thought they would, what do you do, how do you act? Do you take your frustrations out on others? Do you get rude and resentful? Do you mope around feeling sorry for yourself? Or do you buck-up knowing that things do not always go your way. Thus, you put sunshine on your face and go about your business. You know that life is life, sometimes life is good and sometimes it is not. You have learned that getting mad, resentful, frustrated or angry will not change the situation you are in. Through life’s difficulties, we need to learn to place our trust in God, knowing that God will see us through no matter what is going on in our life. Because disappointments are temporary and so many good things will come your way. So open your heart and pull yourself up—remembering God is there. He is always there to help you. Hebrews 13:5b-6 reminds us, “…I (referring to God) will never fail you nor forsake you. Hence we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?” Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to Him; and He will make your paths straight.” Finally, in Psalm 46:1-2a it says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…” Thus with God on our side how can we fail? God Bless. Amen.
