When things get bad and you feel apprehensive,

When things get bad and you feel apprehensive, what do you do?

December 28, 2024

When things get bad and you feel apprehensive, what do you do? When life gets in the way, and you do not see a good future in your stars, what do you do? When you feel downtrodden and you do not know how the situation will work out, what do you do? At times, life can become overwhelming, frustrating and downright difficult and we cry out, “Where are you God. O how I need you.” For it is at these moments when we feel lost and alone, we wonder, “Where are you God?” From my life experiences, from the Bible, and what I have been taught I know God is with us in all situations and circumstances. God is with you holding you up even when you do not feel it. Because God is the one sure thing in life, even when you do not comprehend it, and you doubt. God is there. Today, whatever you are going through trust that God is bigger than the situation. Joshua 1:9 reads, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Psalm 31:14 says, “But I trust in you, LORD; I say, “You are my God.” Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Sometimes, all you can do is trust our LORD, even when you do not feel like it. Trust—God is with you. He will see you through. God Bless. Amen.
