When you are thankful, you are full of

When you are thankful, you are full of thanks.

September 13, 2025

When you are thankful, you are full of thanks. It is a word that expresses either a feeling or showing of gratitude. Gratitude is the quality of being thankful; it is a readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. Sometimes in this life of ours we do not show gratitude or thankfulness. Today, let us do so. Let us be a light unto this world, by being thankful and showing gratitude in all things. As I look around me and I think of my husband, my children, my step-children, my daughters-in-law, my son-in-law, my grandchildren, my greatgrandchild, my siblings, my in-laws, my friends, my dog, the house I live in and the clothes I wear, the food I eat, the car I drive I am thankful. And I am thankful for my God. I am blessed. For I truly understand that I am a beloved child of God created in His image. I am loved unconditionally by God. I am forgiven by God. God always gives me grace and mercy. I give thanks to the LORD for He is good His steadfast love endures forever. I am so thankful for all the mighty things God has done in and through me. I give thanks with a grateful heart for my God is King of kings Lord of lords. For God gave us this day. Let us use it for good, not evil; kindness, not meanness; forgiving others as the Lord forgives us. Let us be a light unto this world, for once this day is gone, we can never get it back. So let us use it for good, being thankful for all we have. For this is the day that the LORD has made let us rejoice and be glad in it. God Bless. Amen.
