When you are young you are invincible, you look at life believing there will be a tomorrow.

When you are young you are invincible, you look at life believing there will be a tomorrow. God seems like a magical God; it is a time of learning about Him—questioning and wondering. When you are in your 20’s you are trying new things and figuring out what being an adult means. God is more personal and your relationship with Him is developing and getting stronger. In your 30’s and 40’s you want to accomplish things and accumulate things. You worry about today more than what the future will bring. And for some your relationship with God is strong, for others you are too busy for God even though you still believe in Him. But for some life has not been very kind and your relationship with God grows weaker. In your 50’s and 60’s you know your life span is getting shorter. Your focus is more on relationships and God. It is a time for making amends with your past. In your 70’s and for the rest of your life you enjoy what time you have left—you don’t worry so much about tomorrow—you try to enjoy the day you are in. For some God is a constant friend. For others, anger at the unfairness of life emerges and you blame God for it. In life no matter your age God is with you--always. I believe and I have found that with God you can face each day whether it is a good day or not so good day, for you know God will give you the strength and courage you need to face whatever happens. Today, whatever is going on, whatever your age is remember God is with you. Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” God is with you—always and forever. God Bless. Amen.
