When you help someone, do you expect something

When you help someone, do you expect something in return?

January 16, 2025

When you help someone, do you expect something in return? Or when you help someone, it is a gift you give, and you do not expect anything from that person? How about when you help someone you do it because it is the right thing to do? Then there are times when someone helps us, and we wonder why that person is helping us. We think, “I wonder what that person wants!” When we help others, it should never be about ulterior motives—it should just be about giving with no strings attached. Luke 6:38 reads, “…give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back.” It is something to ponder. God Bless. Amen.
