When you wake up in the morning do

When you wake up in the morning do you give thanks?

June 12, 2024

When you wake up in the morning do you give thanks? Do you acknowledge God, thank Him for the day, and all the many possibilities that can emerge? Or do you just get out of bed and start your day? If you start your day off with God, have you found that your day goes smoother when you invite God in? Or is God a God of convenience. You only call on Him when you think about it! Life is life. We have good days and not so good days. We have ups and we have downs that are accented by great joy or sorrow depending upon what the day gives you. In life, we have a choice, we can choose to make the most out of the situation we are in or feel sorry for ourself. But the choice is ours to make. I choose to see the good, no matter what life throws my way. I choose to depend upon God for my strength and courage to see me through another day. This is why it is so important to talk to God morning, noon and night and any time in between. For God is the one sure thing in this life of ours. That is why it is so important to start your day off with God. Psalm 143:8 reads, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” By starting your day with knowledge of God’s unfailing love is a powerful reminder of His constant presence in your life. God Bless. Amen.
