Why do we get down-casted—unhappy, not confident, lack of hope?

July 15, 2025

Why do we get down-casted—unhappy, not confident, lack of hope? Why do we become weary—so tired of our situation? Why do we just want to stop and saying enough—let me just sit here for a while! Because life can become frustrating and difficult. Psalms 42:11 says, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” God is the answer to all our “why’s”—to the hard times of life. God is the one sure thing in this thing called life and sometimes when life becomes unfair and painful the only thing that will help is God. He is there. He will help. He will give you the courage, the strength, and the hope you need. So turn to Him. Hold on to Him. He will see you through! God Bless. Amen.
