Words are powerful. Words can build up or

Words can build up or tear down.

February 11, 2024

Words are powerful. Words can build up or tear down. Words can praise or hurt another person. Words can tell a beautiful story or one of heartache and despair. Words can help someone or bring that person down to their knees. Words are powerful and can be very destructive. And if we are honest we really do not consider how much our words can hurt. Psalm 19:14 reads, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, my LORD, my rock, and my redeemer.” Everything we say reflects the type of person we are. Do your words tell others you are a good person, a nice person, a kind and loving person or are you an angry, frustrated and hateful person? What do your words reflect of the type of person you are? Today be careful with the words that you speak. They are saying something about you. It is something to think about. God Bless. Amen.
