You Are Wonderfully Made.

In God's eye you are wonderful, you are a masterpiece.

April 22, 2026

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”(Psalm 139:13-14 NIV)

“Fearfully Made” does not imply being afraid.  It signifies awe, reverence, and astonishment.  It describes you as being remarkably created, and because of this there is a deep respect for what God has done, when He created you.

“Wonderfully Made” refers to being distinct, set apart, or unique. It suggests that you are not a mass-produced product but a one-of-kind “handcrafted" master piece!

“Knit Together” this imagery emphasizes the deliberate and intricate nature of your formation—physical, emotional, and spiritual—long before you were born.  For the way God has created you—you are a masterpiece.  You have worth.  You have value.  You are loved for who and what you are.  You are created in God’s image.  Every detail of your being was planned with purpose and love.

God loves you.  He created you.  Do you love yourself?  Do you like yourself?  Can you look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I love you.  I am a beloved child of God.  I am going to take care of myself today.”  Try it, look directly into your eyes and tell yourself you love yourself. It seems silly, but it makes you look at yourself in a different perspective.

Your challenge is every morning when you are getting ready for the day look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I love you.  I am going to take care of you today!”  Then smile! See how this changes how you view yourself.  It is something to try.  God Bless. Amen.
