1 John 4:10-11 says, “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, if God loves us in this way, we also ought to love one another.” Matthew 22:37-40 tells us, “Jesus replied: “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Scripture reminds us that love is the most important part of our relationship with God, self and others. Love binds everything together. So let me ask you some questions. Where is love in your relationship with God? Do you love God? Where is love in your relationship with your “SELF”? Do you love yourself? Finally, where is love in your relationship with others? Do you extend love to those around you? Where is this thing call love in your relationships? Love is verb. It is action. Today, let love be manifested in your actions, your words and your thoughts. 1 Corinthians 16:14 reads, “Let all that you do be done in love.” Colossians 3:14 says, “And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” God Bless. Amen.
