A friend of mine said, “I wish I had your faith.” How powerful those words are.

A friend of mine said, “I wish I had your faith.” How powerful those words are. I felt blessed. Then I got to thinking, anyone one can have a deep faith. The key is first wanting it, then searching for it through prayer—talking to God about anything and everything throughout the day, reading the Bible, meditating—being still and letting that still small voice talk to you, listening to Christian music and talking to God some more. All the while, praising God and giving thanks. It is searching for God, learning about God, believing in what the Bible tells you, and then searching for God again and again. It is wanting, to spend time with God throughout the day. You learn to make God a priority, your best friend. You fall in love with God. Psalm 46:10 reads, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Romans 12:2 tells us, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Deuteronomy 6:5 states, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” Finally Psalm 9:10 explains, “And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.” When you search for God and send time with God, your faith grows and you too will develop a strong relationship with God. God Bless. Amen.
