As people of God, we want what is

As people of God, we want what is best not only for ourselves but for everyone.

May 14, 2025

As people of God, we want what is best not only for ourselves but for everyone. We love because through God we understand the importance of love. 1 Corinthians 13:6-7 reads, “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” Sometimes we lose sight of “always persevering.” Persevere means to continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success. Thus, in life as we persevere through life’s difficulties, we learn to trust God to see us through the situation we are in. Today, remember no matter what you are going through God is with you. God loves you and so whatever happens know that God will walk with you, giving you the strength and courage you need. So, hold on to Him. Trust Him for He will get you through—moment by moment—step by step—breath by breath. God Bless. Amen.
