“Do not judge, and you will not be

Do not judge, and you will not be judged.

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37 We are told to forgive. Forgiveness means the action or process of forgiving or being forgiven. To forgive means to stop feeling angry or resentful toward someone for an offense, flaw, or mistake. This at times can be hard to do. I want you to picture yourself standing before God. Now ask God to forgive you the wrongs you have committed. Can you picture this? There you are standing before God waiting—patiently—for God to forgive you. God looks down upon you saying, “You are my beloved child. I love you. I forgive you. Now forgive yourself as I forgive you.” Wow amazing—you feel loved. You feel peace. You feel confidence. You feel blessed because you are forgiven and God loves you. Now picture that person you need to forgive in your mind. Can you picture this person? Say the words that God spoke to you, “I forgive you” grace and mercy emerge and God’s love is manifested in you. Powerful! The hard part is learning to forgive others as God forgives us. It is something we all need to do—the question is will we? God Bless. Amen.
