Do you count your blessings daily? Do you

Do you count your blessings daily?

November 10, 2023

Do you count your blessings daily? Do you give thanks to God for all the things you have? If not, what are you thankful for? Your spouse, your children, your daughters-in-laws, sons-in-laws, grandchildren, pets, the house you live in, the food you eat, the clothes you wear, your family, your friends to name just a few. Let’s take it a step further, how many different things can you name that you are you thankful for? Make a list see if you can get to 50 different things that you are thankful for—no, how about 40 different things you are thankful for—not 40. Hmmmm—can you name 30 different things you are thankful for? 20? 15? 10? How many things can you name that you are thankful for? “Ephesians 5:20 reads, “Giving thanks always for all things unto God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Colossians 3:15-17 says, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Today, make a list and then every night for 6 weeks go over your list before you go to bed. (Did you know that it takes 6 weeks to form a habit and one day to break it?) If you go over your list every night for 6 weeks you will be amaze how your attitude will change and how you will look at life differently. Try it—it just might change your life for the better. God Bless. Amen.
