Do you ever want to avoid something? Do

Do you ever want to avoid something?

April 24, 2024

Do you ever want to avoid something? Do you ever pretend that something did not happen? Do you ever circumvent an issue that is just too hard to deal with? Do you ever sidestep something you do not want to talk about? Avoiding difficult issues does not change or make the situation go away. It happened the problem is there! Facing it, dealing with the situation is the right way to deal with the matter. You know this is true. Yet, we all avoid difficult situations and circumstances praying that it will just go away—it never does. Joshua 1:9 reads, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Psalm 27:1 tells us, “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” Hebrews 13:6 says, “The LORD is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Remember this the next time you want to avoid a situation. Remember with God on your side you got this! You can do it! So deal with the situation at hand. God Bless. Amen.
