Do you like yourself? Do you love yourself?

Do you like yourself?

June 14, 2025

Do you like yourself? Do you love yourself? Are you proud of what you have accomplished in your life? See, we are who we are from our past experiences—the good—the bad and yes, the ugly and because of those experiences you are who you are. Therefore, we can say each experience in life builds upon the other and no matter what happens in your life you can use those experiences to glorify God. Today, try embracing all of you. Try to see yourself through God’s eyes, that you are a beloved child of God created in His image, that you are loved and accepted just as you are—all of you, even the ugly parts of your life. Psalm 36:7 reads, “Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.” Jeremiah 31:3 says, “The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness.” God loves you. Always! He will never give up on you. Our quest is to learn to love ourselves as God does! God Bless. Amen.
