Don’t become so used to a bad situation

Don’t become so used to a bad situation that you ignore the opportunity for change.

April 20, 2024

Don’t become so used to a bad situation that you ignore the opportunity for change. Powerful words. Don’t get used to a bad situation. We think, that if we just wait long enough things will get better. We get used to things, don’t we? We get disappointed and we hope and pray that change is coming around the corner—yet it never comes. My question for you today. “For change to occur does that mean we as an individual have to change?” The answer is yes. The only way to make a situation better or worse is dependent upon you. You have to be intentional about wanting to make changes in your life. That at times can become hard to do for sometimes it is just easier to stay in the rut you are in. Which when looking back upon your life—might cause regrets. Today, write down different things that will and can make your life better. Make the move to get started “now” not later, for the change or changes you need in your life. Know, that change is not easy. But remember that it just might make your life a lot better—healthier. Go to God in prayer for strength and courage. Believe that you can do this with God’s help. Scripture tells us in Ephesians 4:22-24a reads, “To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God.” Maybe it is time to make a change. The ball is in your court. You and God got this. God Bless. Amen.
