We are to do the same!

God forgives you. We are to do the same! When we fight, we say things that can and do hurt the person we are fighting with. When we fight, things can get out of control. As time goes by, as we get older, we can regret the things that were said to the other person. The problem is, the things that were said are out there with the hurt too. We all have experienced this. We all have done this. We all are guilty of this. This is where forgiveness comes in—God calls us all to forgive. For God forgives us of our sins, our wrongdoing, and yes the words we have spoken in anger. John 8:7 reads, “When they kept on questioning him (him referring to Jesus), he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin is the first to throw a stone at her.” We all sin. We all fall short of God’s glory. We all want to be forgiven for the wrongs that we have committed—our sins. Today, if there is anyone you need to make amends with, do so. If you need to go to God and ask for forgiveness, do so. Remember, forgiveness is about you. Maybe it is time to get right with God and others. God Bless. Amen.
