Have you ever been afraid? Afraid means feeling

Have you ever been afraid?

October 6, 2024

Have you ever been afraid? Afraid means feeling fear or anxiety—being frightened. We can be afraid of failure. We can be afraid to succeed. We can be afraid to taking a chance. We can be afraid of the unknown. We can be afraid to live for fear of getting hurt. We can be afraid to love. We can be afraid to try. These different types of fear can cause us to get stuck in life. We will never know, nor experience the adventures in life, because of the fear. 1 John 4:18 reads, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out all fear.” God is love and when we love God—God calms our fears. Hebrews 13:6 says, “The LORD is my helper, I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?” Sometimes in life, you just need to keep putting one foot in front of the other and try, even when you are afraid. Believing God will help—believing God will see you through whatever you are experiencing. Knowing and understanding with God on your side how can you fail. God helps us overcome our fears! God calms the fearful spirit. God Bless. Amen.
