Have you ever said, “I didn’t do that?

Have you ever said, “I didn’t do that?

January 17, 2025

Have you ever said, “I didn’t do that? or It is not my fault! or Why do I always get blamed! or Why is life so unfair! or How come I always get the raw end of the deal?” These statements are about being a victim, about not accepting responsibility for one’s life and the different situations you find yourself in. This means a person who consistently blames external factors or other people for their problems, refusing to acknowledge their own role in a situation. Life is life, there are times when life is good and wonderful and then there are times when life is just downright hard. Life is not fair! How you choose to deal with life’s difficulties is your choice. You can make the most out of each situation or you can make excuses and feel sorry for yourself. The choice is always yours. All I know is when you choose to make the most out of life, by staying positive, laughing at life instead of feeling sorry for yourself—life seems to go better for you. Today, remember you are a beloved child of God and no matter what life throws your way, God is with you. And with God on your side, it will work out. Hebrews 13:5-6 reads, “I will never leave you. So we can say with confidence, ‘The LORD is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me.’” It is something to remember. God Bless. Amen.
