Have you ever screamed and screamed in the car while driving because you are so mad?

Have you ever screamed and screamed in the car while driving because you are so mad? Have you ever hit something out of anger? Has the rage ever built up so strong that you kicked something? Have you ever been so frustrated that you slammed the door while leaving a room? Sometimes the rage within us burns out of control. Sometimes the anger emerges so strong it is hard to keep contained. Sometimes we are so frustrated we want to scream and shout at the unfairness of life. Learning to control our rage, anger, and frustrations is part of growing up. When we let our emotions get the best of us it causes harm to those around you. For if we do not learn to control these emotions, they will emerge in an out-of-control manor. Our emotions cannot control us, we need to learn to control our emotions. For example, a large fire will eventually be reduced to ashes, unless you keep adding wood and stoking the flames, then it will burn and burn. Proverbs 14:29 reads, “Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.” James 1:20 says, “For the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” Learning to control our emotions is something we need to pay attention to. And if we are honest, we really do not want to act in an out-of-control manor, do we? God Bless. Amen.
