Have you ever wanted God to come and fix a problem you have?

February 8, 2025

Have you ever wanted God to come and fix a problem you have? You know like God waves His magic wand and fixes the problem for you. I have. Do you ever get mad because God did not fix your problem the way you wanted it fixed. So, you throw a temper tantrum, because you didn’t get your way? I have. Have you ever gotten so mad at God because the situation at hand is not going your way? I have. Have you ever yelled, screamed, and cried out in pain from a situation. Yelling at God at the unfairness of life. Then telling God, you are not going to talk to Him again? I have. This is called the 2-year-old mode that we get into. Where we are out of control and having noise outburst of anger because things are not going our way. These outbursts can be physical, verbal or both. These temper tantrums are destructive not toward God but toward our self. Throwing a fit will never change the outcome of any situation. Never! Life is life. Good things happen and so do bad things. We experience life, death, and illness in this life of ours. There are great moments which are accented by times of undeniable pain and heartache. Life happens. What God promised us is that He will be there with us in all things. God is not a magical God nor is He the fixer. God is our all in all. And when life throws you heartache and pain God is with you every step, every moment. All you have to do is hold onto Him and He will see you through whatever you are experiencing. Deuteronomy 31:8 reads, “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” God is with you always, even during the rough times of life. God Bless. Amen.
