“How are you feeling today?” “How are things going for you today?” “Are you doing OK?” When someone asks you how things are going, and if you are doing OK, it shows you that the person cares about how you are doing. It makes you feel good to know that someone cares. When someone says, “I will be praying for you.” this too makes you feel good. I believe that there is power in prayer. I believe that through prayer, a situation can change. I believe that prayer is one of the most powerful things that a person can do. John 14:13-14 reads, “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.” Psalm 107:28-30 tells us, “Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven.” God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is with us in all situations and circumstance. He will see you through whatever you are going through. God will give you the strength, courage and hope you need. Go to Him. Pray! Tell him your hurts and your concerns, and if you have a loved one who is hurting, pray for that person. Prayer is how we communicate to our LORD. There is power in prayer. God Bless. Amen.
