I am going to Follow Jesus.

Jesus is the way.

April 3, 2026

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5 NIV) “He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness.  By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24 ESV)

The Old Testament foretold of Jesus’ coming and the New Testament revealed Christ’s life, death and resurrection.  Because of Christ and what he did for us—laying his life down for us—we are atoned for our sins and have the promise of eternal life.  His sinless life fulfilled the law, His death paid the penalty for our sins, and His resurrection provides eternal life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that who so ever believes in him shall have eternal life and the forgiveness of their sins.

Because of this and what God has done for us.  Let us remember who we serve and whom we belong to.  Let us lay our world at His feet—our troubles, our tribulations, our sorrows, and our joys.  Let us give it all to the Lord.

And as we do this, let us recommit our lives to the Lord.  With a renewed commitment saying, “I going to follow our Lord in all that I do. For He alone is my God, my savior, my King.  And I lay my world at His feet.”  Praise be to God!  God Bless. Amen.
