I have heard others say, “I do not like change.

December 13, 2023

I have heard others say, “I do not like change. Why can’t things stay the same.” Change can seem to be very hard, yet every day there is change in our life. Every day we are a day older—change. Every day our body ages—change. Every day our eyesight alters—change occurs. We also have to remember change is transpiring with every other human being every day too. So for us to complain about change seems strange because change is always occurring. Change occurs! What we have to realize is that what we do not like is big change and uncertainty, because it moves us out of our comfort zone—it challenges us. We have to learn to trust in God. And to know that He will see us through all of life’s difficulties—no matter what happens God is with you, always and forever. Psalms 59:9 reads, “You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God are my fortress.” Embrace the change in your life, for you are alive. Trust God; believe that God is bigger than the situation. Know that with God on your side, no matter what happens in life, you got this! God Bless. Amen.
