I have noticed a trend moving across our great nation.

I have noticed a trend moving across our great nation. There is a lack of respect—to God, our Flag, our country, and to one another. Respect means a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. Just because you can say, something doesn’t mean it is the right thing to say. Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean it is the right thing to do. Our great Country, is founded on lives lost, dedication, respect, and God. God is the glue that holds this country together. Today, remember we are all beloved children of God—created in His imagine—love, accepted and forgiven all of us. Romans 12:10 reads, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Philippians 2:3 says, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” Titus 2:7 tells us, “In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teachings show integrity, seriousness.” Finally in 1 Peter 2:17 it says, “Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.” It is something we all need to think about! Let us pray for one another, for our country to get back to respecting God, flag, and one another. God Bless. Amen.
