I sin! You sin! We all sin and

We all sin and fall short of God’s glory.

I sin! You sin! We all sin and fall short of God’s glory. Sin is anything that separates you from God. Thus, you can say sin is an immoral act considered to be a transgression against the divine law—a sin in the eyes of God. We as humans, want to water down sin, so we can make it OK for us to do the very thing we know is wrong. We make excuses so that our conscience will not bother us. And because of this, sin reigns. Exodus 20:2-17 tells of the 10 Commandments; this is a guideline of what sin is. The book of James talks about gossip. The Book of Proverbs gives us guidelines of how we are to act and be. Numbers and Deuteronomy are Books in the Old Testament showing us how to live, what we can eat and drink and what sin is. They teach us how to pray, how to serve God, and how to be people of God. The Bible is full of wisdom and guideline. So, what sin do you need to confess and make right with God and yourself? When we confess our sins by the grace of God we receive forgiveness. Psalm 32:4 says, “Then I confessed my sins to you; I did not conceal my wrongdoings. I decided to confess them to you and you forgave all my sins.” Psalm 69:5 helps us to confess. It says “My sins, O God, are not hidden from you; you know how foolish I have been.” It is through confession that we make right with God—God forgives! Remember that is why Christ came into this world—so that all will be forgiven. Today, get right with God. Truly be an example for others to follow. Let others see what an amazing God we have and how to live the life God wants us to live. God Bless. Amen.
