I was in High School; it was early morning.

May 7, 2025

I was in High School; it was early morning. I was out riding my horse with my dear childhood friend Debbie. We were heading for the prairie to enjoy a morning ride. We rode often together. She taught me about horses and the love of riding. We were heading northeast, and the most glorious sunrise was forming in the sky. We stopped riding and just looked at the pinks, reds, and golds within a bright, breathe taking, star like sunrise, that filled the sky. I had never seen anything so beautiful. I looked at Debbie saying, “That is what I think God would look like.” She said, “Isn’t it amazing!” As we both described what we saw. Watching in wonder and awe. If you were to describe God to another person, what would you tell the person? That our God is amazing, all powerful, all knowing, kind, merciful, compassionate, all loving and forgiving. He is our all in all. Would you say He is King of kings, Lord of lords, mighty and wonderful. Creator of all things. Savior, sustainer, redeemer, exalted, and deliverer of all life. How would you describe the most important part of your life, our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Psalm 147:5 reads, “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.” Zephaniah 3:17 says, “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Today, let us give thanks and praise God, for He is our God and there is none like Him. God Bless. Amen.
