I was probably in 2nd grade, so I was about eight years old.

I was probably in 2nd grade, so I was about eight years old. My mother was standing in front of the picture window, in our living room, looking out the window. I had just gotten up. I walked up to her and said, “Mom, hold me.” And to my amazement, she picked me up. I wrapped my arms and legs around her. She held me that way for a bit. I said, “Aren’t I too big to be held?” She said, “You are never too big to be held.” I felt so much love. Memories they are forever sacred. What memory from your past reveals to you an overwhelming feeling of love? Was it a time you shared with your parent, a sibling, a friend, or a pet? What type of situation were you in, when you felt loved? When you felt this love, did you feel all warm and wonderful inside—happy? It is amazing when you feel loved. You have so much confidence and security in what you are and what you can accomplish. Love is and will always be one of the most important gifts we can give anyone. Today, share love with those around you. Let those you love know how much they are loved. 1 Corinthians 16:14 says, “Do everything in love!” Try it—it just might make your day. It just might change your life or someone else’s. God Bless. Amen.
