I was walking my dog, it was a breezy morning, you could tell it would be another hot day. The sun got in my eyes, I closed them, letting my dog lead the way. I tried to keep my eyes close to see how long I would trust my dog to lead me carefully home. I think I got to maybe 20 seconds—maybe! I just had to open my eyes, to see if, I was going in the right direction. Then I thought, this is what we do with God. We trust Him for a little bit, but then we have to take charge. Because it is so hard to believe God could and would take care of us. All of the time, not just some of the time. Learning to let go and let God is so very hard to do. Psalm 37:23-24 reads, “The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.” Psalm 32:8 tells us, “I will lead you down the best path for your life.” God has the wisdom, guidance and direction we need, but it is not going to happen automatically. We have to learn to walk by blind faith. Remembering all things work together for good, for those who trust in the Lord. God Bless. Amen.
